Spring session 2026

Our choir rehearsals start on Monday 5th January 2026, and this session, we are delighted to be singing Mozart’s Requiem.

Regular rehearsals begin at 7.15 pm and finish at 9.00 pm (with a short break in the middle), and take place in the Memorial Hall, Merchiston Castle School, Colinton Road, Edinburgh EH13 0PU. Our Spring Concert will take place on Monday 23rd March 2026 at Merchiston Castle School – a date for your diary!

This first rehearsal of the new term will be an open rehearsal so that new members interested in joining the choir can sing with us to try it out. There is no obligation to join thereafter and you would be very welcome to come along. So why not give it a go?

Returning members and potential new members, please note on the first evening – Monday 5th January 2026 – we will start at 7 pm so that new music can be handed out. If travelling by car, please park in the quad to the right side of the Main Building, or on the driveway. Please enter the Memorial Hall by the door in the left hand corner of the quad. And… please note also that Colinton & Merchiston Choir’s ‘Singing in the Summer’ term will take place weekly on Monday evenings between 20th April and 8th June 2026.
